Situated in the Wild Coast of Eastern Pondoland in Eastern Cape, South Africa, Hluleka has plenty of nature to explore and moments of bliss. Some call this place a paradise for wanderers because of the naturally beautiful scenery.
Resilient in nature, despite disruption from unprecedented events like floods, wildfires, nature is either fortunate or resilient in this part of the world. The sea waters that never go dry and greenery hills that remain untamed, the four seasons.

The two-way forest

In and out of season, the forests have long-standing roots of trees, whilst some bloom according to their season. Winter has the vibrant show of orange and green.
The blend of coral (orange color) trees and aloe-forex in winter gives life to the rather sparse appearance of nature in some areas that are affected by winter.
From that aloe ferox and coral view to the two wide-stretched neighboring forests. It is the greenery that gives room for plenty of oxygen, which is not disrupted by heavy industrial pollution. The Congwane Mtombo and Ndabeni Hluleka forests are what give life.
Beach with dolphins and whales
Here comes the fun side of nature, where you get to see dolphins and whales jumping up and down in the deep waters. A swim or fishing to bring home is one of the most loved things by beach goers.
The air is clear in Hluleka it has sea breezes, and sunrays that bring about vitality to the body which makes the place more adorable for taking a beach walk, fishing, or sitting on the grassy hills for a spectacular sight or on top of rocks in the coast line.
Bird watching
There are more than 100 birds recorded in the bird list site that have been spotted in the area. So there is food for the eyes.
To get the best views, watch early morning or evening. Birds are sensitive to noise, so it is better to have a quiet time if you are eager to watch in wonder without distractions.
Walking and hiking in the beauty
These are not ordinary walks and hikes; it is the environment that matters where you do them. A walk on the beach or a hike in the grassy hills or rocks along the beach is what makes the slight yet significant difference.
The cool wildlife
The wanderers never cease in this place, there is balance in its offering from vegetation to animals. Well, it might not be the big five, but it is the cool kind of species that will rarely scare anyone. From the smallest antelopes to clawless animals, Hluleka wildlife is fairly unscary.
It is home to zebras, bushbucks, impala, the smallest type of antelopes in South Africa, the blue duiker and African clawless otter and the giant land.
For those who admire the village experience, domestic animals on grazing pastures like horses, oxen, goats, donkeys and sheep.
