The exciting part of the trip is that people can get close to the elephants that appear in their normal behavior. They are seen in their natural environment living their normal life. Trips are usually booked around the time when they go for drinking in the nearby dam.

The area is known for its farm environment, which gives the rural economy a boost and recognition. Many people are farm workers and others are in the tourism sector. With the government improving accountability and other entities, the working conditions are fairly improving for such jobs.
Tourists flock in numbers to Addo and Kirkwood towns to see this farm area. Accommodation is available with several guest houses and hotels that are ready to keep the visitors safe and have a good stay in the farmlands.
